Whooppee!!! Starting my new blog. Hey everybody — since the hoopla of Semana Santa is over & everyone has packed up & gone home we are officially in the off tourist season. Take advantage of our off-season rates and come & enjoy Lake Atitlan when there aren’t hoards of tourists. This is the most beautiful time of the year — everything is turning lush & green as the first rains roll in. Some people think that the rainy season is to be avoided but those in the know — know that the rainy season is the most beautiful time of the year here. We get plenty of sunshine — mostly sunny mornings, with intermittent rains & sun most afternoons. Sometimes we get most of our rain at night which is very pleasant to hear the pitter-pattering on the roof. The gardens begin to grow at an alarming rate — flowers busting out everywhere — yahooooooooo!!!!
